Terms of Service: Jikiden Reiki Courses
Registration and Fees: A course deposit payment is required for each course you wish to book a place for. Once a deposit payment has been received you will receive an email for you then to make your selection of the course date(s) you wish to attend. Once you choose the course date(s) this is taken as your commitment to those date(s), you will then receive a conformation email of you place on the course(s) you have selected. Course places are allocated on a first come bases to those who have: paid the deposit, made their course date selection and returned their completed Official Jikiden Reiki course application form . The course application form will be sent to you after initial deposit payment has been received. A completed and signed Official Jikiden Reiki Institute application form is required to be completed for each course participant prior to the course commencing. A deposit payment without selecting course date(s) or returning your application form does not guarantee your place on any course. Your registration and acceptance on any course will be confirmed by email. Booking applies solely to the course and date requested on this booking form. The balance of the course fee is due to be paid to the course teacher no later than 1 week prior to the start of the course. For Jikiden Reiki students who have already taken official Jikiden Reiki training with an accredited Jikiden Reiki teacher that choose to repeat there training will be required to pay their course repeater fee(s) in full at time of booking.
Cancellation and Transfer Policy: Please note that course deposit payments and repeater course fees (for those already trained in Jikiden Reiki) are non refundable and non transferable. Course balance payments are non refundable however may be transferred to another course date with Shaun Mckeown. The course balance payment may be used as the balance towards a subsequent course that is held within 12 months of the start date of the original course. In such an instance a new deposit payment is required to be made for the new course at the time of booking. A new Jikiden Reiki course application form will be required to be completed. The original balance can be transferred only once and must be used for a course within 12 months of the original course start date. If a period of 12 months has expired any balance payment will be forfeited. Shaun Mckeown reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course. In the event of a course having to be cancelled or rescheduled, participants will be offered alternative course date, or a full refund. In such an event the liability of Shaun Mckeown will be limited to the course fees paid by the participant. Participants are responsible for any personal belongings brought to any course venue.
Should you have any special requirements or health conditions that the course organiser needs to be aware of please ensure they are made aware in advance of the event. This includes a history of fainting, blood sugar problems, or ailments that may effect your condition during the workshop or event. Participants need to take responsibility for their own well-being during any workshop or event and should they feel unwell to make the event organiser aware at the earliest opportunity.
